I started using Cray-Pas oil pastels in the early 60Ís. Being a self-taught artist, they seemed to be the best medium for me to experiment with, giving me real freedom to create!
Over almost 40 years, Cray-Pas have helped give me the courage to work in other medium; oil, acrylic, pastels, ink, etc. They were always on hand to give me confidence a boost when needed. And to help me develop a language of symbols and colours that are truly my own!
Over the years, I have sold my Cray-Pas paintings. The collectors of this work really enjoy the new shapes and color combinations they constantly seem to discover.
Cray-Pas are an inexpensive medium that offers unlimited possibilities to the artist. |
