Doctor recommends SumoGrip for patient coodination problems
SumoGrip's thick barrel, triangular grip and the 0.9mm lead make it much easier for a child who has difficulty with finger coordination to write. A patient recommended the SumoGrip and he found the 0.9mm lead at Art Mart. Target has the 0.5mm lead but I believe it must be 0.7 or 0.9mm for stability and ease of use. When they bear down, the lead will often break. They are better than Dr. Grip or Sanford's Ph.D. version because of the heavier lead.

The SumoGrip is the only fat & comfortable mechanical pencil with heavier refillable lead. Other fat pens and pencils have slippery grips or are more expensive. My son has poor fine motor skills and is "double-jointed". The Sumo Grip has made his life at school much more successful. He would like to start a concession to sell the pencils.All the kids ask about them. Thanks for the great product. I love them for my sketches and pattern making, as a textile artist.
