WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:

Candidate must have strong organizational skills, and be self-sufficient under limited supervision in a warehouse environment. Candidate must also be able to work on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. This person will work in shipping and receiving, as needed.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Pulling customer orders: Pull orders using packing lists and stage on packing table.
  • Check customer orders: As needed check orders, pulled by someone other than yourself, for accuracy. Let the person who pulled the order know if a problem arises so that it can be addressed.
  • Pack Customer orders: Pack checked orders and stage in shipping area.
  • Make Labels: Create and print labels for mass and base business orders as needed.
  • Ship Orders: Ship orders through shipping system for ground shipments and create BOL for truck shipments.
  • Receiving: As needed, unload, check-in, sort and put away incoming shipments.
  • Daily Cycle Count: Perform daily counts that will be provided to you by Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Lead.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior warehouse experience not required, but preferred.
  • Forklift certification a plus, but not mandatory
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
  • Ability to work independently and be flexible, comfortable working with others as a team member, possessing multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, basic math skills and time management skills.
  • Flexible to work overtime on occasion preferred
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is required
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
  • Complete a Sakura of America employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
