Sakura partners with Creativity Explored to celebrate disabled artists
Sakura of America and Creativity Explored team up to support the creative vision of neurodiverse and disabled artists in San Francisco.
We are honored to announce a new collaboration between Sakura of America and Creativity Explored to supply their studios and artists with quality art supplies.
Founded in San Francisco in 1983 by an artist and a psychologist, Creativity Explored (CE) provides artists with developmental disabilities the means to create, exhibit and sell their art.
Today, Creativity Explored supports the careers of over 130 neurodiverse and disabled artists with personalized services, including space to create, community and mentorship, representation in the art world, and their favorite supplies.
Sakura of America and CE share a common mission, believing in a world of possibility powered by human creativity. Sakura is proud to support Creativity Explored’s commitment to disabled artists, who are making their mark on their own terms. Together, we strongly believe art is for everyone.
Sakura’s products have been enabling creativity in the CE studios for decades – we’re excited to partner and share the stories and the artwork of artists who are creating today. Join us on our website and Instagram to meet the artists and see what they create.
